Ships in Bob’s basement ready to be packed. From front to back. Brandon’s VV. Bob and Andy’s Nagatos (3d printed superstructure new as of this spring). Brandon’s Duilio. Owen’s Moltke. Owen’s Duluth. 3 French cruisers. Bob’s Bermuda. Brandon’s Liberte.

Packed truck. Not that impressive compared to years past. We opted to take the Tyler’s truck and Bob’s van. 5 drove down (Tyler, Andy, Mike, Owen, Bob) and Matthew flew. Bob flew back leaving just 4 on the return trip. We were concerned though that we wouldn’t have enough space if we took one smaller and one larger vehicle.

Through the back window of the van. The van was fairly full.

The hotel had a cool welcoming sign.

The pond is an elongated oval. An approximately 8 foot deep trench runs through the middle. The tents are seen on the left of the picture. There were erosion control barriers in place (slightly annoying but manageable) because the walking path was recently constructed, and there was work being done 50 yards away and significantly up hill from the tents to install a new playground.

A view from inside the tent.

Glen Brandon’s Italians: Caio Duilio and Vittorio Veneto.

Mike’s Seydltiz. Note the Bismarck inspired stripes and plane launches. Is the Seydlitz having an identity crisis?

Cameron’s King George V.

Ronnie’s Nagato

Rick’s Graf Spee.

Tyler with his ships: Yamato, Duca d’Aosta, Akagi, Hikawa Maru.

Tyler’s fleet: Yamato, Duca d’Aosta, Akagi (Best of Scale Convoy), Hospital ship Hikawa Maru.

Tyler’s Akagi. Best of Scale Convoy.

Ken K’s best of scale Derfflinger. I love the torpedo nets. All of his superstructure is hand made.

Nate A 5 years prior at his first battle ever lost Steve A’s French cruiser at this pond during a regional battle. While looking for a Bitando Invincible, this was pulled from the depths.

Group photo before Cruiser Battle on Wednesday.

American Destroyer.

Ken K’s German light cruiser.

Super cool picture at night battle with long exposure. Tyler did night battle for the first time in years with the Yamato. In real time (without the long exposure) it was much darker.

Steve’s Texas found some Yamato dual haymaker.

Owen’s Duluth.
